Amritsar, March 30
Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar, while speaking to the media today, said that the party will stage a protest on April 4 to seek justice for the family of warehouse officer Gagandeep Singh Randhawa.
Addressing reporters, Jakhar alleged that the Congress has backed out of the issue of ensuring justice for the Randhawa family. He said that the Congress had earlier demanded a CBI inquiry in the matter, but Punjab Congress president Raja Warring has now stepped away from the issue.
He further stated that the BJP will reach out to Members of Parliament and MLAs from both the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party to press for a CBI investigation.
