Chandigarh, March 9
Student organization ‘Saath’ staged a protest at Panjab University in Chandigarh. Members of the organization were protesting against the invitation of a leader associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to a seminar being organized at the university on Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Police took several members of the organization into custody who had gathered at the campus to stage the protest.
