Raja Warring Demands High Court-Monitored Probe in Gagandeep Randhawa Suicide Case, Questions CBI Credibility

Chandigarh, March 25

Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, in a social media post, responded to Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar. He reiterated his stand that the tragic suicide of District Manager of the Warehousing Corporation, Dr. Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, should be investigated under the supervision of a sitting High Court judge.

He stated that past experiences with CBI investigations have not been very positive or encouraging. According to him, during the BJP’s rule, the investigating agency has lost its credibility. He added that there are several instances where CBI probes did not lead to any concrete outcome. Therefore, he stressed that the case should be probed under the supervision of a High Court judge.

Respecting the sentiments of the family, which has lost a beloved son, husband, and a caring father, he said he stands with their wishes. If the family demands a CBI probe, it should also be conducted under the supervision of a High Court judge.
