Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Launches New Industrial Policy in Ludhiana, Holds Meeting with Industrialists




Ludhiana, March 7

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today launched the Punjab Industrial Policy in Ludhiana and held a meeting with industrialists on the occasion.

Earlier, the state’s Industry Minister Sanjeev Arora said that such a policy does not exist anywhere else in the country. He stated that the policy was introduced under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Arora further said that the Chief Minister has a deep commitment towards the industrial sector. He added that the state cabinet approved the policy within 10 minutes.

He also informed that 24 committees were formed to gather suggestions and feedback. Officials from various departments, the Punjab Development Commission, and the use of Artificial Intelligence were involved in drafting the policy. Out of the feedback received, 77 percent of the suggestions were considered. One percent was related to the Central Government, while 22 percent remained, which were also discussed.
