No Oil Shortage, No Lockdown: Centre Urges Public Not to Panic Amid Rumors

 


New Delhi, March 27

Amid rising tensions in the West, concerns have spread across the country regarding a possible shortage of oil and petroleum products. People have started gathering at petrol pumps, leading to panic buying. At the same time, rumors about a possible lockdown are also circulating among the public.

In response to these rumors, statements have been issued by central ministers of the BJP-led government. According to sources, Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has dismissed the rumors of a lockdown, stating that there is no shortage of oil or petroleum in the country and there is no need to panic.

Similarly, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has urged people to avoid believing in rumors. Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju also reassured citizens that no lockdown is going to be imposed and there is no cause for concern.
