Nitish Kumar Resigns from Bihar Legislative Council After Election to Rajya Sabha



Patna, March 30

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has resigned from the Bihar Legislative Council. Minister Vijay Choudhary carried his resignation to the Council and submitted it to Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh.

Vijay Choudhary stated that the Chief Minister has been elected to the Rajya Sabha, and this is a constitutional process. He added that the resignation was due today. The resignation letter was formally handed over to Legislative Council Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh by MLC Sanjay Gandhi.
