Jalandhar, March 9
As part of the farmers’ awareness march being carried out from Kanyakumari to Kashmir demanding a legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price (MSP) and the exclusion of agriculture, dairy, and poultry from the proposed trade agreement with the United States, farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal reached Jalandhar today.
He was warmly welcomed by district president Kulwinder Singh Mashiana and other farmer leaders.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Dallewal said that the proposed trade agreement with the United States would devastate farmers, traders, and workers in the country. He further stated that the struggle would continue until a law guaranteeing MSP is enacted.
