Harpal Singh Cheema Assures Assistance for Stranded Indians, Urges Centre to Arrange Special Flights

Chandigarh, March 3

Amid the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict and concerns over Indians stranded in Middle Eastern countries, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said, “We have received many phone calls. Those who have returned from there are also stranded here. We are providing them with full assistance. Some flights are starting today or tomorrow, and some have already begun operations. Soon, everyone will be brought back safely.”

He further stated that if anyone is facing difficulty in arranging flight tickets, the Central Government should send a special aircraft to bring them back safely.
