Trump Claims He Ended Eight Wars, Warns of Iran Missile Threat in State of the Union Address

Washington, February 25

US President Donald Trump addressed the US Congress with his second State of the Union speech of his second term. Speaking during the 2026 State of the Union address, Trump claimed that he had ended eight wars in his first 10 months in office.

He stated that if he had not intervened, a nuclear war could have broken out between Pakistan and India. He further claimed that 35 million people had said that without his involvement, the Prime Minister of Pakistan might not have survived.

Trump also said that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza had been successful. He reiterated that since returning to office, he had ended eight wars and described it as a major achievement. According to him, the conflict in Gaza is now at a very low level, and as a result of the agreement, all Israeli hostages have been released.

Trump further alleged that Iran is developing missiles capable of reaching the United States. He said Iran has already developed missiles that pose a threat to Europe and US overseas bases and is working on missiles that could soon reach the United States. He also claimed that Iran had killed 32,000 protesters and is attempting to draw America into a war.
