Attari Border (Amritsar), February 21
The “Punjab Bachao Rally” organized by the Shiromani Akali Dal has commenced in the Attari Assembly constituency near the border town of Baba Sohan Singh Bhakna, close to Attari.
A large number of party workers and leaders from various villages and towns of the Attari constituency are arriving at the rally venue in groups, carrying banners with slogans in support of the Shiromani Akali Dal. Hundreds of Akali workers are participating under the leadership of their local representatives.
Prominent leaders, including Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal and senior leader Bikram Singh Majithia, along with other members of the party’s senior leadership, are expected to attend and address the gathering at the Bhakna rally.
