Rahul Gandhi Targets Government Over Adani Case and Epstein Files, Faces Privilege Notice Threat in Lok Sabha

New Delhi, February 11

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, delivered a speech today during the Budget Session. He referred to the Epstein files and the ongoing case against Adani in the United States. He said that the case against Adani is, in reality, a case against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that it would shake the financial structure of the BJP.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju immediately interrupted Rahul, saying that he should prove what he had stated; otherwise, his remarks should not be recorded in the House. The Congress leader responded that he would prove it right away and present all the evidence immediately. However, the Speaker stopped Rahul and said that he had not asked for proof and that Rahul should continue speaking and provide evidence later.

Rahul also criticized the government over trade deals with the United States, the revelations from the Epstein files, and the Budget. He alleged that the central government had “sold India” and said, “You have sold our mother, Bharat Mata. Aren’t you ashamed of selling Bharat Mata?”

Meanwhile, Kiren Rijiju said that they would file a breach of privilege notice against Rahul Gandhi in Parliament and that Rahul would have to respond to it. Rijiju also added that Rahul should обязательно (must) listen to the Finance Minister’s reply at 5 PM.
