Parliament of India Budget Session Day 13: Nishikant Dubey Moves Motion Against Rahul Gandhi, Seeks Membership Termination



New Delhi, February 13 

Today marks the 13th day of the ongoing Budget Session of the Parliament of India. The session is being conducted in two phases, with today being the final day of the first phase. The second part of the session will commence on March 9 and continue until April 2.

On Thursday, the Industrial Relations Code (Amendment) Bill, 2026 was passed by the Lok Sabha and later by the Rajya Sabha. The bill aims to amend the Industrial Relations Code, 2020.

Earlier, Nishikant Dubey, a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party, introduced a substantive motion in the Lok Sabha against Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of misleading the nation. Dubey demanded the termination of Gandhi’s parliamentary membership and called for a lifetime ban on him from contesting elections.
