Narendra Modi Congratulates Tarique Rahman on Election Victory in Bangladesh

New Delhi, February 13 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Tarique Rahman on his victory in Bangladesh.

In a post on social media, the Prime Minister extended his warm wishes to Rahman for the decisive win of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party in the parliamentary elections. He said the victory reflects the trust of the people of Bangladesh in Rahman’s leadership.

Modi further stated that India will continue to stand in support of a democratic, progressive, and inclusive Bangladesh. He added that he looks forward to working together to strengthen bilateral relations and advance shared development goals.
