Mohali, February 11
Several schools in Mohali have received bomb threats sent via email. Upon receiving the information, school administrations were immediately alerted, and as a precautionary measure, all schools were closed. Many students who arrived at school in the morning were sent back from the gates.
Following the threat, police and security agencies were put on high alert. Police teams reached the locations, began investigations, and increased security around the school premises. During this time, DSP City Harsimran Bal personally visited Learning Path School, while DSP City One Prithvi Chahal reached Paragon School.
Police have sealed all the schools and are conducting internal checks. No one is being allowed beyond the gates. Authorities have stated that a press conference will soon be held to provide further details on the matter.
