Patiala, April 2
A video from Mata Kaushalya Hospital in Patiala has gone viral on social media, showing a heated argument between a woman and hospital staff. The video also shows the woman bleeding from her face, raising serious concerns.
Following the incident, Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh visited the hospital to inquire into the matter. Speaking to journalists, he stated that a staff member, in a fit of anger, first broke a glass panel, which struck the woman’s face and caused the injury.
Taking immediate action, Dr. Balbir Singh confirmed that the employee involved has been suspended. He also ordered a detailed inquiry into the incident, adding that such behavior will not be tolerated.
