Chandigarh, March 11
Today is the fifth day of the Budget Session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly. Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira, who arrived at the Assembly to attend the session, said that a condemnation motion was passed in his absence. He questioned under which rule the resolution had been passed.
He further stated that a meeting of the CLP (Congress Legislature Party) would be held shortly, and the party would take a decision in the meeting before making any further comments.
