Chandigarh, March 6
Proceedings of the Punjab Legislative Assembly began today on the first day of the session. The session started with the address of Gulab Chand Kataria.
During his address, the Governor said that his government is providing services through health, family welfare and other public welfare initiatives, adding that the administration is working with a spirit of cooperation.
However, as soon as the Governor began his speech, a Congress MLA attempted to interrupt him, leading to a brief commotion in the House. The Governor paused his address and asked the member to raise his issues later.
