No Fuel Shortage in Punjab, No Lockdown Expected: Bhagwant Mann Assures Public



Chandigarh, March 28 

After a video conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the situation in Western countries, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann addressed a press conference today.

He stated that Punjab currently has petrol stock for 12 days, diesel stock for 14 days, and LPG stock for 6 days. He assured that there is no need for people to stand in long queues and urged them not to pay attention to rumors. He also clarified that there will be no lockdown in the country.

Mann requested the Central Government to ensure that there is no shortage of fuel in Punjab during the harvesting season. He further added that LPG cylinder bookings in villages should be allowed after 25 days. He emphasized that even in times of crisis, Punjab is ready to supply food grains to the nation.
