Noida (U.P.), March 28
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the first phase of the Noida International Airport at Jewar. On this occasion, he said, “Today, we are beginning a new chapter in the ‘Developed UP, Developed India’ campaign. Today, the country’s largest state has become the state with the highest number of international airports.
Today, I have two reasons for pride and happiness. First, you all gave me the opportunity to lay the foundation of this airport, and you also gave me the honor of inaugurating it. However, I share this honor with all of you, as it has been made possible by your efforts.
Second, the Uttar Pradesh that chose me as its representative, the Uttar Pradesh that made me its Member of Parliament—along with its identity, the name of this magnificent airport has also been associated with the identity of Uttar Pradesh.”
