In keeping with the age-old traditions of the national festival and annual fair of Hola Mohalla, the Nirmal Bhekh Sant Samaj organized a Nagar Kirtan from Gurdwara Dera Tibba Sahib, Chak Holgarh. The procession was led under the guidance of Guru Granth Sahib and the leadership of the Panj Pyare.
On the occasion of the commencement of the Nagar Kirtan, Acting Jathedar of Akal Takht and Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, along with Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, participated specially in the event.
The chief organizers of the Nagar Kirtan, Sant Baba Karamjit Singh and Sant Baba Balbir Singh, informed that the procession was arranged to mark the traditional beginning of Hola Mohalla as blessed by the Guru Sahib. A large number of devotees, including prominent personalities of the Nirmale Sant Samaj, took part in the procession and sought the blessings of the Guru.
They further stated that the Nagar Kirtan commenced from Gurdwara Tibba Sahib, Chak Holgarh, and will pass through Gurdwara Damdama Sahib, Agampur Chowk, the Bus Stand, Panj Pyara Park, Qila Anandgarh Sahib, and Mohalla Naveen Abadi before concluding at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib.
