BJP Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut, while reacting to the announcement of the election schedule, said, “We will definitely win. All our party workers are actively engaged in the campaign and we will hoist the BJP flag everywhere.”
It is worth mentioning that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar recently announced the schedule for Assembly elections in five regions. The Election Commission of India has announced elections in four states and one Union Territory.
Polling in Assam and Kerala will be held on April 9. Voting in West Bengal will take place in two phases on April 23 and April 29. Polling in Tamil Nadu will also be held on April 23, while voting in Puducherry will take place on April 9.
The counting of votes in all these states and the Union Territory will be conducted on May 4.
