Iran Retaliates with Massive Missile Strikes on Tel Aviv After Killing of Ali Larijani, Conflict Enters Day 19

Tehran, March 18

Today marks the 19th day of the ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran. Iran’s top security official Ali Larijani and his son were killed in an Israeli strike yesterday, a claim that has now been confirmed by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

In retaliation, the IRGC launched missile attacks on more than 100 locations in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel. Iran stated that these strikes were carried out to avenge the deaths of Larijani, his son, and Basij paramilitary commander Gholamreza Soleimani.

Iran also claimed that Israel’s strong defense systems failed to intercept the attacks. Meanwhile, Israel reported that a woman was killed due to falling missile debris.
