Barnala, March 12
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and former president of the Truck Union Barnala, Hardeep Singh Sidhu, on Wednesday quit the party and joined the Shiromani Akali Dal along with his supporters.
Sidhu joined the party under the guidance of Barnala constituency in-charge Kulwant Singh Keetu. He was formally inducted into the party by Sukhbir Singh Badal.
On the occasion, several other leaders including Harkesh Bawa, Sanjeev Bawa, Japan Sidhu, Amrik Singh, German Singh, Nattha Singh Dhillon, Aman Kaleke and Satpal Singh Namazi Khan also joined the Shiromani Akali Dal.
