Chandigarh, March 10
The proceedings of the fourth day of the Punjab Legislative Assembly’s budget session began today. During the session, a discussion will be held on the trade agreement between India and the United States.
The House proceedings started with the Question Hour. During this time, Speaker of the Assembly Kultar Singh Sandhwan informed the minister that children are spending too much time on mobile phones. He asked whether the government could issue an advisory to parents asking them not to give mobile phones to their children. The minister replied that the matter would be discussed and a decision would be taken afterwards.
Meanwhile, Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak said that 7,500 depots will be allotted across the state within the next two months.
