Chandigarh, March 13
Bhagwant Mann said in a tweet that the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit 2026 has begun with great enthusiasm. He warmly welcomed prominent industrialists from across the country and around the world who have arrived on the sacred land of the Gurus and saints.
As part of the summit, Mann held an important meeting at the Chandigarh residence with Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, Executive Chairman of ArcelorMittal. During the meeting, they held meaningful discussions about large-scale investments in Punjab and creating new employment opportunities for the state’s youth.
The Chief Minister added that with the creation of a favorable environment for industries, Punjab is increasingly becoming the first choice for investors. He assured that the government will provide every possible support to industries and called on everyone to work together to build a prosperous “Rangla Punjab.”
