Chandigarh, March 16
The Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has completed four years in power today. Addressing a press conference on the occasion, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the government has fulfilled all the promises made to the people within four years.
He stated that although the party had set a five-year timeframe in its election manifesto to fulfil these promises, the government managed to accomplish them within four years. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also released a booklet highlighting the work and achievements of his government.
Listing the government’s achievements, Mann said that his administration has provided free electricity to every household and also waived off pending electricity dues. He added that farmers are also being provided eight hours of uninterrupted power supply for agricultural purposes.
