Chandigarh, March 6
A Cabinet meeting was held today ahead of the start of the Punjab Budget Session. The meeting was chaired by Bhagwant Mann. During the meeting, the Cabinet approved the state budget.
In a post on social media, the Chief Minister stated that the Punjab Cabinet has approved the budget estimates for the financial year 2026–2027. He informed that the budget will be presented on March 8, which is observed as International Women’s Day.
Bhagwant Mann further said that the budget would play a significant role in ensuring the progress and prosperity of every Punjabi and would contribute toward making Punjab a vibrant and prosperous state once again.
