The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has terminated the services of Giani Raghbir Singh, Head Granthi of Sri Harmandir Sahib.
Earlier, an emergency meeting of the SGPC Executive Committee was held at its headquarters under the leadership of SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding an important decision in connection with Giani Raghbir Singh.
Addressing the media after the meeting, Advocate Dhami stated that Raghbir Singh had brought disrepute to the SGPC. He further alleged that Giani Raghbir Singh had violated established rules and norms, and therefore, his services have been terminated.
