New Delhi/Amarkot, February 13
Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi held a detailed meeting today with farmer leaders regarding the alleged anti-farmer agreement between United States and India.
The delegation included All India Kisan Wing Congress National President Sukhpal Singh Khaira, Punjab Kisan Wing Congress President Karanjit Singh Mithha Marimegha, and several other farmer representatives. The meeting with Rahul Gandhi continued for a considerable time.
Leaders of the farmer wing affiliated with the Indian National Congress from various parts of the country were also present on the occasion.
