Rahul Gandhi Appears in Sultanpur Court, Denies Charges in Amit Shah Remark Case



Lucknow, February 20

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi appeared today before the MP/MLA court in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, in connection with remarks allegedly made against Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

According to his counsel, Rahul Gandhi denied all the allegations levelled against him. He stated that the case had been filed with political malice and lacked any substantial basis.

Lawyers present during the hearing said that upon arriving in the courtroom, Rahul Gandhi greeted the judge with folded hands and bowed respectfully. After the conclusion of the proceedings, he also thanked the court. The judge asked Rahul Gandhi whether he had any clarification to present, to which he responded in the affirmative. He remained in the courtroom for approximately 20 minutes.

The next hearing in the matter has been scheduled for March 9.
