Sanour, January 6 – The Punjab Congress President, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, had recently announced that for the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections, the Congress Party will allocate 70 tickets to new, clean, and grassroots-level active faces. Raja Warring’s decision has received widespread appreciation in Sanour.In this context, senior Congress leader of Sanour, Nirmal Singh Bhattian, held an important meeting in Sanour. The meeting was attended by block-level Congress leaders, representatives of the Youth Congress, Women’s Congress, and a large number of party workers.During his address, Nirmal Singh Bhattian said that the announcement by Punjab President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring to give 70 tickets to new faces for the 2027 elections will infuse new energy into the Congress Party.
He added that workers who have been working tirelessly at the grassroots level for a long time will no longer feel ignored.Nirmal Singh Bhattian claimed that by promoting new and honest faces, public trust in the Congress Party will be further strengthened. He said that under Raja Warring’s leadership, the Congress Party is rising above nepotism and favoritism and providing opportunities to those who work sincerely—a move that will especially inspire the youth. During the meeting, the workers unanimously stated that if tickets are given to new faces, the common people’s trust in the Congress Party will be restored.
