Sukhbir Singh Badal Slams AAP at ‘Punjab Bachao Rally’, Promises Better Law and Order Ahead of 2027 Elections

Goniana (Bathinda), March 7

During the ‘Punjab Bachao Rally’, Sukhbir Singh Badal addressed party workers regarding the upcoming 2027 Punjab Assembly elections and strongly criticized the Aam Aadmi Party.

Badal alleged that drug trafficking is openly taking place in the state and that gangsterism has become dominant. He said that law and order in Punjab has deteriorated to such an extent that people do not know when gunfire may erupt in broad daylight or when a village sarpanch might be killed. He further claimed that several sarpanches associated with the Aam Aadmi Party have already been murdered.

He also alleged that businessmen are receiving daily phone calls demanding extortion, and those involved in such activities are allegedly being released from police custody with the help of senior leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Badal stated that traders are currently living in an atmosphere of fear and claimed that “jungle raj” prevails in Punjab. He urged the people to support him in the 2027 elections, promising that if he becomes Chief Minister, he will fulfil the demands of the people of the state.

Towards the end of his address, he placed his hand on the shoulder of constituency in-charge Daljit Singh Guru and appealed to the public to ensure his victory with a large margin, adding that he would seat him close to the Chief Minister’s chair in the Assembly.

On the occasion, Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that a government college and other development projects would be undertaken on a large scale in the Bhucho constituency.

Other leaders who addressed the gathering included Sikander Singh Maluka, Balkar Singh Brar, Jagsir Singh Kalyan and Mohit Gupta.
