Chandigarh, March 13
Nayab Singh Saini said that rumours about disruptions in the supply of domestic LPG have been spreading on social media and other platforms due to the war-like situation in the Middle East over the past few days.
He clarified that the supply of domestic LPG, petrol and diesel in Haryana remains normal and uninterrupted. He added that detailed discussions were held with senior officials from the Food Supply and Consumer Affairs Department and representatives of oil companies. The companies have assured the government that there is adequate stock in the state and the supply chain is functioning smoothly.
Regarding the supply of commercial cylinders, the Chief Minister said that priority arrangements have been made for hospitals, educational institutions and other essential services. He also stated that all Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police and district supply officers have been given strict instructions to take immediate action against theft, black marketing and hoarding.
