Narendra Modi to Visit Gujarat Today; To Inaugurate Semiconductor Plant and Launch ₹20,000 Crore Projects



New Delhi, March 31

Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat today. During this visit, he will inaugurate the Kenes Semiconductor Plant in Sanand, Ahmedabad. In addition, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone, inaugurate, and dedicate projects worth over ₹20,000 crore in Gandhinagar and Vav-Tharad at the Samrat Samprati Museum.

The program will begin around 10:00 AM with the inauguration of the Samrat Samprati Museum at Koba Teerth in Gandhinagar. The museum showcases the historical, cultural, and spiritual heritage of Jainism.

At around 12:45 PM, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the country’s second Kenes Semiconductor Plant in Sanand, marking the start of commercial production at the facility. The first plant was also made operational in Sanand in February 2026.
