Malerkotla, March 17
Under the leadership of District Congress President Madam Nishat Akhtar, a peaceful protest was held outside the office of Aam Aadmi Party MLA Dr. Mohammad Jameel-ur-Rehman in Malerkotla.
On this occasion, a large number of women raised slogans against the Punjab government and the Malerkotla MLA. Addressing the gathering, Madam Nishat Akhtar criticized the scheme promising ₹1000–1500 to women, saying that the government should first deposit the pending amount of ₹48,000 into their bank accounts.
