Chandigarh, February 17
Addressing mediapersons today, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the next Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha will commence on February 20. He said the session will lay a strong foundation for the state’s development, public welfare priorities, and future plans.
He stated that as soon as his government assumed office, it began working on the promises made to the people in its election manifesto. “Our election manifesto is like the Gita for us,” he said, adding that the entire country knows there is no difference between words and action in BJP governments.
The Chief Minister further said that people’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to grow. He emphasized that the state government is working diligently to fulfill the commitments outlined in its manifesto.
He informed that on December 19, 2024, the government had listed 217 promises in its election manifesto. “I am pleased to share that we have fulfilled 60 of these promises, and work is progressing rapidly on another 120,” he added.
